To get online carreer mode first go to host a game then select the level option to change the level from there pick created level and then load when it ask's are you sure say no then triangle out and pick a regular level (you should notice the level select is plain like when your offline) then once the level loads you will be stuck in one spot but you can see people leaving and joining the lobby.
