Why The Ps3 Is Bigger Then 360 Options

Well as you may or may not know the XBOX 360 is a bit smaller then the PS3. I have now figured out why. when you open an XBOX360 you get the console itself then this other big grey box. I mean big. it's about the size of a red brick Just about as heavy as well. this is the 360's power supply. well IGN has just received there PS3 and guess whats. it's power supply is internal. that would be the reaosning on why it is slightly bigger then the 360. if you made the 360's power supply internal. it would be quite bigger then the PS3. so to every one who says oh the PS3 is so much bigger then the 360 and you were complaining about the xbox's size. well now we know why it's bigger and why it will prolly run just as hot as the 360 does. I bought an external fan thing for mine called an intercooler. why my XBOX360 is louder w/ 2 external fans then my PC that has about 10 fans is beyound me. but it's loud. and the system still runs really really warm. so warm infact that I no longer need to turn the heat on in my house. my daughter comes up to me and says daddy I am cold. I say ok everyone come gather around the 360 and stay warm. lmao. once the PS3 comes out I will give my input on it's warmth as well. believe me.

E3? You're comparing a crappy devkit to several finished models that I was referring to.

I never said it overheated. I am saying the thing runs very warm in most cases 85+ degrees and in some places 92+ degrees. so I bought the intercooler to cool it down a bit but now it's louder then it originally was. you gotta admit it is pretty loud and the intercooler. makes it even louder. I can't say anything about the PS3 nor can anyone else right now because no one owns one.

Ok let me begin

1. About the system that froze.

Did it freeze because it overheated? ..Nope, so what does a game that froze have to do with overheating?Absolutely Nothing!

2. About your 360 thats running fine.
Im still using my Ps2 I bought at the launch of Ps2. I've never had the dreaded Disc Errors or any other problems. The fan rarely works at this point. I barely even turn the thing off. Its been running for 3 days straight and it still works perfectly fine. Just because Im not personally going through the Ps2 "bugs" doesnt mean I can pretend they dont exist.

3. Atleast try and think before you speak/type.

I am not saying it's a problem. I am just pointing out the reason why the PS3 is a tad bit larger then the 360 and the fact that the 360 runs really warm at around 85-90 degrees and that by adding those fans it helps a bit but it makes it louder then even my pc w/ 9 fans. I am not saying it's a problem just saying it runs really hot and explaining why the PS3 is a bit larger.

well not only that but everyones like oh the 360 is cheaper then the PS3 bla bla bla. well here's why. the 360 still uses same old dvd discs. PS3 uses next gen BR. now the 360 lovers are going to be like ya ya ya but the 360 is coming out w/ a hd-dvd player. yes your right but how much is that going to cost. now add that on to the amount the 360 costs and guess what? your spending more money on the 360 then the PS3 your still not getting the capacity of BR and your taking up yet more space.
