I'd have to disagree, although I am not particularly fond of either candidate, just would rather have McCain. I don't really care for politics in the first place though, any candidate is going to lie and is going to be pushed by their party to change their views, so candidates are pretty much the same to me. Obama seems to be copying JFK just to gain popularity, I also do not care for candidates that can basically only talk negative of their opponent in the tv ads, and not so much talk of what they will do for the country. Some people rag on McCain because he is older, has some physical problem, and I've heard he was stupid just because he didn't speak as well as Obama. We shouldn't look at what they look like, a lot of people are voting for Obama because he's half black. Some women would vote for Hillary because she's a woman. Also IMO, the devil can smoothtalk people to do anything, doesn't mean he is worthy to follow. That's all just my opinion, no one please be offended.

I would of rather seen Ron Paul in office but since that isn't going to happen I think Obama is the less of the 2 eveils. Mccain also has the most attack ads because thats all he has. I still can't believe for some stupid reason the USA doesn't have a proper Heath Care system. Canada does and most other countries in the world do. For example I can walk into any hospital and get the proper attention I would need and not get a medical bill thrown at me.

If I could vote, I would vote for McCain. Obama's economic plans are just not fit for the current economy. Take money out of the pockets out of the very people that we pay for our goods will just result in offsetting the loss in prices and thus digging into the tax cuts he gives to the middle class. A national health care system is just another strike to the national debt, something the economy is not looking for. Obama has himself stated that the national health care problem will be put off by the current economic crisis, and none of us know how long it is going to continue. Don't forget that a while back Obama voted against the regulation of these huge national corporations that got us into this mess.

A lot people are just voting for Obama because they want to vote against the republican candidate because they think he's another Bush. Although he has voted with Bush 90% of the time, not every piece of law that Bush has put into effect has been of no value or worthless.

The fact remains that McCain has constantly been a maverick in Washington, and has put his hand over the aisle constantly to keep the country on track. Obama has nothing in the books that shows him doing so, mostly being that he is mostly one of the most far left presidential candidates we have seen in a long time. It doesn't help that his vice presidential candidate is also sitting in the far left. If those who don't know what I'm talking about when I say far left, I mean a huge amount of government involvement in your day to day life. "Spreading the wealth" may sound like a good idea, but this is borderline socialism, a sort of government that is a threat to the liberties that we have. People should not rely on the government to do everything for them.

In this discussion there are few things that caught my eye. First of all, let's pull the age thing off the table. Age may be a factor in the election, but it shouldn't affect your opinion enough to vote for a candidate that may or may not be against your own principles! McCain has been an advocate of pulling out of Iraq since his campaign started and he has constantly called for a pullout that will not end up threatening the safety of our nation, hence his famous "10 more years" quote which comes from the thought that we may well be there for another 10 years until the peace can be maintained without our help. Obama is not thinking about stealing our information through healthcare. Come on, that's outrageous. He has better things to do than that. As for Ron Paul, there's a reason why he has almost no support in this election...

Also, both candidate have already outlined their plans for the future (they both have their economic plans posted online), so I don't know what you're talking about when you say McCain doesn't have a plan for the future. Just because someone has more attack ads than another person doesn't make them any worse than someone who has attacked them. If you take two punches at me, and I take only punch at you, that doesn't mean I am a better person than you.

What do you have wrong with Palin?

Voting for a person who is in a certain party DOES matter. McCain is Republican and Obama is Democrat because their ideas fit in with the groups' attitudes about governing the country. Ron Paul isn't a popular candidate in this election because he's so far right which is Americans aren't looking for right now. Attitudes right now are favoring far left because of the Bush administrations failures and shortcomings. It's just natural for us to vote for the party opposite to that which has problems.

The punching story was meant to be used as a relation and not meant to be interpreted with such criticism... A punch of anger (attack ad) versus a punch of anger does not make one innocent for punching (a better candidate) is what I am trying to say.

Obama is definitely a better speaker. He's younger, has a stronger voice, and can actually raise his arms all the way up to make powerful gestures. McCain can not raise his hands very high because he was tortured in the P.O.W. camps during Vietnam and his voice is borderline boring. It's interesting to see the young energy that Obama brings into his speeches about change and hope.

I'm sure many people want Osama and his radical followers dead. I recall from one of the presidential debates that Obama said he would even invade Pakistan without permission to take him down. Doesn't that sound familiar? Sounds just like what Bush did pretty much in Iraq with Saddam. Things just aren't all that pretty when Obama criticizes McCain for being another Bush when Obama himself would do something just like him.

I don't want you to go on all day about this conversations but I really want to know why you believe so. All you have given me is opinion and I just want to know the facts that make up your opinion.

I like to give good grammar to this because it is an intellectual conversation and is pretty lengthy.
