Holy Moly This Game Sucks Options

Wow I knew I made a mistake when i got this game for my brother for xmas.


I bought the THP8 PS3 edition..................................and..........seriously it sucks

in career mode your screen fucking chokes when ur going to diff parts of the level for some reason (maybe its because its a gay ass ported game from teh x360)

i mean with the power of ps3.................how can an offline game still lag and shit, i mean i play resistance 24/7 ive never seen the framerate drop one bit or notice any room lag with full 40 people fuckin shooting at each other.



otherwise............this game is pretty decent at the gameplay and shit but the only thing that bugs me is the lag when skating to diff area and shit.




i promised my self after i bought thug2-to never buy another tony hawk game again, but i couldnt resist since it was for ps3

well I got my ps3, but my dad got the Japenese version ( stupid dad ) since he was in China. So it cant play anything from North America, plus the transformer I need to get the right voltage heats up too fast in like 20 min so ima see if he can get an American Version or just take it back and ask for a Computer instead or psp. w/e comes up first in my head.

So idk when im getting one. If it becomes too late ill just get thp8 for ps2 just in time to beat it and get the next game.

It came w/ 3 japenese games - ridge racer 7 , genji, and Gundam. Those worked but none of my us games work. So i guess it ISNT region free. And whats the point of having it if u have to buy all your games from Asia. Plus on ebay you have to put what version . I think anyway. I might be able to get some stupid bidders that dont look to see the details.

I would go with ebay. You could always write sony a letter of complaint, and they might replace it

As well do I....that's why I was highly dissapointed to see that THP8 wasn't online...I usually only played the story mode once on sick mode. but now it's so different. I am not sure if I will like it.

we keep giving Neversoft chance after chance. but yet most of us are still here. However like said this is next gen stuff we're talking about. I think the PS3 version was basically just ported from the 360 and since the PS3 is new technology it's gonna take a bit to understand and be able to code for. I wish they would of done more w/ it yes but at the same time what they did do was pretty amazing. I mean the graphics are sick the goals are hard and finding glitches is challenging. so what if you can't use 1 type of glitch to get into every single object like previous games. thats what makes it a challenege. They left out a lot of stuff but think about it this way. them leaving out all that stuff just means they actually spent more time on the overall gameitself. now since they have all the graphics engine completed and the shaders and bla bla now they can focus on giving us back CAP, a better cas, CAD, etc etc. Be patient. and hey if it doesn't turn out to be a good game next time around then also like said before there's EA's Skate game which I dunno but I don't have high hopes for. Skate board games have come and gone and yet Tony Hawk is the only one still standing it's gonna be hard to dethrown him. If you want to get the best out of THP8 then get the psp version. each version of the game has something that the other doesn't which makes each one an overall decent game.

I'm still here because i like you guys... If I didn't really care about the clan I'd probably be gone by now. Because when I glitch i like doing it with other people I don't do it by myself off line. I think that's stupid.

We'll see how the SKATE game is going to be. We might even change games.

Thats why I gave up on THPS...I dont own a console, or any thps games anymore, if its at a friends house, ill play, but just to stomp everyone in the house at graff horse and trick attack lol.
