I included the cost of the hard drive in the 360's price. My math sucks? %60 of 400 is 240 dollars.
I understand why you added the extra objects (to make the consoles "even") but let me just say this again. THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT HD AND BLUERAY.
You see how well UMD and Videonow are doing right? People stick to the shit that is familiar. They just got used to big screens and DVDs. I doubt that people will just transition instantly once the new formats are out.
So, If you want that stuff, the PS3 is a better deal. Lets just agree to disagree. I will respect your opinion. You actually have good reasons to like the PS3.

360 doesn't use HD-DVD for games. I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up yet. PS3 Takes full use of Blu-Ray. >.>
"You see how well UMD and Videonow are doing right?"
Don't forget how well Betamax did.
The fact that the xbox only uses regular dvd games I think was all ready mentioned. now even leaving out the HD DVD or HD tv fact the PS3 is still the better deal because even if you don't use it you have it and can still play your regular dvd's as well. also your forgetting the 20 gig and 60 gig differences. so add on the extra 40 gigs and your at an even price and theres still the controller charger issue and the wireless internet issue. which would still bring the 360's price above the PS3's. Basing things on release prices is also kinda stupid. I mean people were paying outrageous prices for the 360 when they first came out to or have you forgotten? No matter which way you look at the PS3 is the better bang for your buck. also the PS3 is completely backwards compatible unlike the 360 which can play most regular xbox games but not all. but you believe what you want.
I mean I dunno go pay $400 for an upgraded xbox w/ a upgraded market place graphics that are a tad bit better and um... hmmmm.... what else really is there thats different between the xbox and the 360?.... oh wait thats right it's repackaged into a bigger white box has a new name and hardly anything else.. it's basically like buying a PC for $300 then a few years later buying a brand new one for $400 when you could of upgraded it ofr less then $200. I mean in all honesty all I see from the 360 is an upgraded xbox. it brings nothing new to the console next gen table. except the graphics are better ok so it basically makes games look prettier.
PS3 a nicely bundled all in one package that brings to you new tyechnology w/ out having to wait a year and paying hundreds of dollars more to get it. it offers next gen graphics which are comparable to the 360. it brings high definition quality to your HD tv. it offers wireless communication still in the same package w/ out chargning extra. it brings a new technology of sorts to it's vcontroller w/ the tilt axis. and theres no added battery pack to the controller you can just hook it up and charge it w/ the cables provided in the box.... now the PS3 brings more to the table over the PS2 then the 360 does over the regular xbox. that in itself makes it a better purchase.
then theres the all might Wii. the most exciting and inspiring system of the next gen group. I mean it's completely backwards compatable all the way back to the regular NES. it does have better graphics then the game cube it has the completely wireless and motion censored controller that puts you in the game better then anyother console. ya it's graphics might not e all OMG and awe inspiring but the new technology's it brings to the table out surpass the 360 and the PS3 combined. nothing about it is similar to it's previous console.
I am most excited about the Wii then the PS3 and since I have a 360. I was as disappoiinted as I knew I would be. oh and that was ment to be $60 not %60 I thought you would of been smart enough to figure that out on your own so I didn't bother editiing it. but I guess not.
