Why The Ps3 Is Bigger Then 360 Options

Well as you may or may not know the XBOX 360 is a bit smaller then the PS3. I have now figured out why. when you open an XBOX360 you get the console itself then this other big grey box. I mean big. it's about the size of a red brick Just about as heavy as well. this is the 360's power supply. well IGN has just received there PS3 and guess whats. it's power supply is internal. that would be the reaosning on why it is slightly bigger then the 360. if you made the 360's power supply internal. it would be quite bigger then the PS3. so to every one who says oh the PS3 is so much bigger then the 360 and you were complaining about the xbox's size. well now we know why it's bigger and why it will prolly run just as hot as the 360 does. I bought an external fan thing for mine called an intercooler. why my XBOX360 is louder w/ 2 external fans then my PC that has about 10 fans is beyound me. but it's loud. and the system still runs really really warm. so warm infact that I no longer need to turn the heat on in my house. my daughter comes up to me and says daddy I am cold. I say ok everyone come gather around the 360 and stay warm. lmao. once the PS3 comes out I will give my input on it's warmth as well. believe me.

Ok let me do a sorta side by side comparisson of the 2 systems. this is what you would need to really make the 2 even as far as disc copacity online wirelessly etc etc. Remember the 360 only uses regular old dvd discs while the PS3 uses blueray which is about equal to HD DVD quality.



Xbox360 cost = $400 ...........................................PS3 cost = $600
Hd DVD player cost = $200 ..................................BR player cost = Included
Wireless online cost = $100 ..................................Wireless online cost = Included
Controller battery charger cost = $20 to $30 ............Controller battery charger cost = Included/USB

Price total = around $700+ dollars .............................Price total = $600

Now what costs more? IMO the PS3 = the better overall deal

Also keep in mind that the PS3 comes w/ a 60 gig hdd while the 360 only comes w/ a 20 so to equal it out since you can't buy a 60 gig HDD or even a 40 gig HDD you would have to buy 2 more 20 gig HDD's and those are $100 a piece adding on another $200 to the final package of the 360. this would bring your total to just over $900. I believe the PS3 is the better buy.

Heres the thing though. The average video game player ANYWHERE doesn't own an HDTV or care about one. The average console owner doesn't play online. So, take away the blue ray, hddvd drives and wireless.

Which one is the better deal to the average consumer then?

The shortages will just make people buy the other systems or just wait so they don't have to pay 3500+ for their console.

So, instead of waiting until spring, why not just buy something you can play now. Or better yet, instead of being a retarded fanboy who only buys one thing, broaden your horizons and experiance something new.

PS: Why does every pro PS3 topic become anti 360 and result in a giant dick hugging ball? Sony hasn't pwned shit yet. The console isn't out. Lets just wait until the system is released, and unbiased opinions are released.
