New Glitch Guidelines For Thp8, For glitch posters. Options

Once THP8 comes out I am sure there will be a steady flow of glitches. some of us are kinda confused about what a glitch is and some of us have different opinions on what it is and different guidlines. Here are some general guidelines for glitches and glitch posting for THP8



1. THP8 will be released multi platform. If your a glitch poster you will notice that when you go to add a new glitch below the posting text area you will see smiley face icons and such. Some of those have been replaced w/ logos. If a glitch has been done on the PS3 then use the PS3 logo. If it's been done on PS2 then use that. If by some chance you have done that glitch on both PS2 and PS3 then leave it. This will let people know which console the glitch is for. Theres also a PC logo as well.



2. A glitch posted must include a good description and atleast a couple pics. The first pic should show a relative area so people can see what area your in. The second should show you part way in the glitch or the begining stage of the glitch and so on and so on and then of course the final result.



3. If the glitch was done using a mod, hack, or cheat device then it doesn't count as glitch.



4. If a glitch is done using a cheat that enhances your skaters abilities such as moon gravity then it's not a glitch however if your using a cheat such as I dunno big head mode and you figure out how to get big head mode on a screen where it usually isn't supposed to show up that would be a glitch.



5. Any type of glitch using a lagging method also will not count as a glitch. Examples would be pulling out your internet cord causing it to lag. There were a lot of these in the past game but I don't believe they can be considered real glitches because your altering the way the game runs and opperates. Another example would be opening the disc tray. How ever if you find a level swap using these methods thats great and will be aloud.



6. If your using debug mode which is also a form of altering the game or a hack or mod then any glitches done using debug will not be considered glitches.



All the above mentioned forms of glitching aren't true forms. they some how alter the way the game works. A true glitch is one found w/ out altering the game or it's opperation in anyway. Some could argue that using ingame cheat codes to do glitches should count because the developers should of tested the cheats bla bla bla. moon gravity is just to much of a cheat to be used to glitch.

Unplugging a controller doesn't really alter the way the game runs. in thps4 there was a message so there fore they intended on the controller being unplugged and there for any glitch resulting from unplugging the controller would be a glitch. and since they don't have that message anymore it will still be a glitch because they should of taken into consideration that people would unplkug there controllers.

Actually I never unplug mine during gameplay.
