Yep. Off to California for Japanese orientation for 3 days until June 11. I'll depart to Japan on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:23 AM from San Francisco.

I don't know what time my flight on Sunday is from HERE (Houston) to San Francisco is, but I've checked my flight number and everyday it departs at around 7 AM. Ugh. That means an all-nighter for me...

I got my host family today...


Anyways, GOT MY HOST FAMILY TODAY.

I'll be living in Naha, Okinawa in a neighborhood called Akamine, which is right next to the airport.

日本沖縄県那覇市赤嶺 = address, google map it

Father's a salaryman, mother is a housewife. 18 and 16 year old brother, 14 year old sister

Other than that, I will be attending Naha High School in Matsuo

That's all I know so far. I got their phone number, so I'm going to try to call tonight when I'm at my farewell dinner with my friends.

No pics of the family, sorry.
