its fast... but still not as fast as unreal.... i have high hopes for this game but im also a bit skeptical of some of the vids ive seen of the beta.... guess i just have to get my hands on it. to me it just looks like a polished version of halo2 with weapon mods and a bit faster gameplay, but hey i havent played the damn thing yet =[
LOL! trust me... it's A LOT better then halo 2. a TON new weapons, cooler levels, and better rank system. Here are some of the new weapons and equipment
Spiker - Fast shooting weapon SMG style weapon.
Spartan Laser - Huge Laser that has to be charged to shoot it. 1 hit - 1 kill.
bubble shield - a piece of equipment used to protect against enemy fire. Drop on the ground and walk inside
Proximity Mine - Equipment used to placing traps on the ground
Energy Drainer - Equipment when used forms a bubble. Anyone around it will take a lot of damage.
Spike Grenades - Grenades that kinda look like a spiked club. Fun to stick to enemies.
Missle Pod Launcher - Huge weapon. So big you have to be in 3rd person to use it. Makes you walk about half speed. Shoots missles, only has 8 shots i think. But 1 hit 1 kill.
Chaingun - Can be used mounted to a default area. Or you can take it off the mount and walk around with it. Again, you will be in 3rd person with this weapon.
that's all i can think of off the top of my head right now. I am sure there will be more weapons and equipment on the full game.
