This will be thrown out. If you go read the patent and look at the site of the product, all this was is a wireless remote that had the arrow keys mapped to buttons, and a transmitter that controlled the pointer.

The two remotes don't even function the same. The Wii has most of the info come from the Wiimote and this piece of shit uses the oddly shaped transmitter to recieve the motion sent from the optical laser found in the remote.

And the Wiimote uses the Wii as a transmitter. ohmy.gif In the long run it's pretty damn close to being the same thing.

It isn't. At ALL. This is just a wireless mouse with arrow keys mapped to buttons for Powerpoint presentations.

There are no accelerometer, or ways to tell where it is in regards to the reciever, or how it is tilted.

This company should be suing the people who actually made a good version of this idea. Not nintendo. I mean, they didn't even design the thing for the same reasons nintendo designed it. And they are far from the first to come up with wireless pointers.

Think laser pointer with buttons. The wii just works difrently. I'll type some longwinded shit up tomarrow. I need UMK3 and sleep for now.

Quick edit: Boring Powerpoint mouse = infared. Wiimote = Bluetooth. differant technologies. That makes enough of a differance for this to get thrown out.
