now its starting to look too real.. >.<
BGOAT wiz
Graphics are amazing. gameplay looks like a snooze fest though
HubCAp_
Graphics are cool. Can you even get off your board?
bleed
Haha it would be funny if they "thought of everything" except getting off your board.
BGOAT wiz
no man it's realistic. don't you know real skateboarders never get off there board. No but seriously you can not get off your board in skate.
XolrecX
They figured it was a waste..I dont mind, THPS4 had no walking and it was awesome..
logan
When you bail, getting back on your board is kinda gay though, cause you just appear from nowhere. And I hope you can change the view when you skate. That could get kind of annoying if you couldn't. Otherwise.. it looks fun.
XolrecX
Well, they're saying the camera is supposed to be like a camera man... I was watching some videos, and the camera man congratulates you if you do something awesome, and in one of the new videos, chris cole rides by and the camera man is like "hey Chris"

They said they dont want it to be so realistic that its not fun...but I think the bails look awesome...

The problem is I am leaving for job corps on the 20th.. so I probably wont be able to play the game period for like 2 to 3 months after release...
Oompa
im really excited for the game because it looks like it will actually be fun. i had some doubts in the beginning, thinking that it would be really boring to play and stuff...but i just remind myself that its just a game, so im hoping that you will be able to play the game in an unrealistic manner.

because if any game was perfectly realistic, it would be ridiculously difficult to play, and gamers would want to play a game like that. i think EA cares about money, and so I think the game won't be perfectly realistic, and we will be able to play the game unrealistically.

and like, just cause the controls are on the right stick, it doesnt mean the game will be more realistic. it just means that gamers will have another control system to memorize. some people think that just because of the flik it control system, it will be harder to do tricks and you will feel accomplished by performing a trick. however i think that in reality it wont be any different from other skating games. the physics i think will be different but i think everything else will feel the same.

Well ima wait for it to release and let you suckers buy it. Then if its good ill buy it.

Didn't the demo come out yesterday for Xbox 360? I think it did, my friend thought so too..

Anyone play it yet?
BGOAT wiz
I believe it was delayed. prolly not until next week.
logan
Anyone know when the Skate demo hits the PlayStation Store?
HubCAp_
Next week? idk and I think its only for XBL not sure. This demo could make it or brake it. We shall see what happens.
XolrecX
Demo comes out early Tuesday morning for 360.. And they are fine tuning the graphics and physics system for PS3..

Flickit will feel alot different btw.. You have complete control over the height of your tricks..so you don't have to clear a curb by 4 feet... you could perfectly align on to it with practice.. same goes for a ledge or some thing..plus the collision detection is amazing, if you don't clear a curb or a ledge of your wheels
you'll bail or just walk off the curb..
wut wut
yeah. i cant wait smile.gif
logan
Anyone know when it will come out for ps3?
