The Color Clear Options

Sometimes people ask me whats my favorite color and sometimes I respond Clear. they give a strange look and say but clear is not a color. I argue that it indeed is. You can see clear. the windsheild of my truck is clear. my ps2 has a clear cover and most glass is clear. if I can see it and I can touch it that means it's real and it must be a color. if someone asks what color my ps2 is I tell them clear. Can't clear really be any color and every color. clear can be what ever color is on the other side of clear. Theres clear tape and if I stick that clear tape on an orange background then it's also orange. water is also clear. so w/ those examples doesn't that make clear a color?. hows the water at the beach today it's not all mucky and green like yesterday is it. no it's clear. I just wanted to get another perspective on this.



Aren't there even clear colors like a clear yellow or clear blue.

Clouds are clear water vapor, but you see them, so yea. Also, my PS2 controller is clear tinted and the PS3 is clear black

I say no, if it was "clear" you wouldnt see it, glass is clear sometimes, but most its dirty, if a ps2 controller was clear it would look like the wires and w/e were floatin.

then why can I see it? and if it's not a color then why is there clear yellow, clear blue, clear red, it's a color and you can see it and it's clear and it reflects light or w/e you said. there fore it must be a color. and since I can see thru it it can be what ever color is on the other side of it.

In Canada its spelt Colour and its spelt Grey here Ferg.

Clear yellow can be seen because the object can hold in light making it possible 2 see colour. Why do you think they dont make sunglasses clear? Because it cant hold light so now you got burning eyes, but if you have lets say blue lens the lens can hold the light causing less eye burning

Yes I do. Clear is all those colors. and req you answered my question. it might be yellow but it's clear yellow and since yellow is a color yet it's still clear that must make clear a color. clear can be any and every color.

If something is straight up clear then its not a color




This has gotta be the dumbest arguement we've ever had and it DOESNT involve President Bush for once
