I just removed a virus from my computer with Spybot Search & Destroy and every time I open a program, I get this message. http://i13.tinypic.com/6l99zd2.jpg

Except instead of it saying "iTunes.exe", it says the program name followed by .exe

I already restarted it since the virus was removed and I need a little help of how I can get rid of this message opening everytime I open a program. I just click on "Ok" and it goes away, but this shouldn't be popping up every time. Thanks in advance.

this happen to me once with limewire. uninstall, make sure all the files are gone, example, if there not all gone, delete whats left, any extras, etc, and then just reinstall should be good.

Yeh, I'm not dumb. I was gonna say, don't post links to stuff on google because I already raped all the info. It's useless.

dual boot?

that way you can dl games and shit illegally on linux w/o worrying about shit spilling all over your computer
take the files you need (and are safe) and migrate them to a windows partition.

for me when i sit down at my computer and i turn it on i already know if im going to be computing or gaming so this works out well for me. i suppose if u try and do both at the same time or close to each other this might not work. i eventually plan to try and share drives between two seperate proccessors and be able to switch between linux and windows at the click of a switch. ive heard it being done but im broke and not quite confident enough with that kind of stuff to actually stab at it.

http://www.virustotal.com/

That's all I need to make sure the files are safe. Scan it on that before running it.

At the moment I do have lolubuntu on one partition and lolwindarz ecks pee on another, but the problem is is that I only use ubuntu to test Western Quake 3's linux build and that's about it. But the thing is, I dedicated 67 gb or so to that partition, and seeing as I don't have a huge hard drive, that quite a bit when it comes down to downloading games etc. I have 500 mb free on my windows partition, and that makes downloading even a ps1 game hard as hell. I'm afraid of fucking with the ubuntu partitions' size only because, well, last time it didn't go so well. Windows imploded on itself and I had to re-rip my music collection :<

Yeah if you click on spambot links.
Or go to less than legit warez boards (lol those things)
Or blindly click anything labeled "FREE TITEHZ"
