I just found out about it today and I am thinking about doing it in my freetime. www.geocaching.com basically it's a treasure hunt using your gps. people hide things called cache and give hints and or a locaTION VIA LONGITUDE LATITUDE OR COWARDINANCE OR W/E AND YOU TRY TO FIND IT BY THOSE W/ YOUR GPS. Handheld GPS and an account at geocaching.com which is free then just go to hide and seek type in your zip code and look for caches in your area. there all over the place.
