Anyone else heard of this. I just found out about it today and I am thinking about doing it in my freetime. www.geocaching.com basically it's a treasure hunt using your gps. people hide things called cache and give hints and or a locaTION VIA LONGITUDE LATITUDE OR COWARDINANCE OR W/E AND YOU TRY TO FIND IT BY THOSE W/ YOUR GPS. Oops caps. it seems very interesting. Ima give it a try and do my own cache. reply w/ your thoughts.

I talked to one of these guys today after he found the Cache I placed and from what I have learned for him it's more then just boredom these people do it as a hobby sometimes even more then that... an obsession. kinda weird but w/e I might dabble in it now and then when I get a second.

Handheld GPS and an account at geocaching.com which is free then just go to hide and seek type in your zip code and look for caches in your area. there all over the place. I found 6 in vermont this weekend while on vacation. pretty fun.

you search out containers. the containers are either rubbermaid containers, ammo containers or sometimes magnetic key holders. it can be anything. sometimes film containers or whatever you have that can resisit the weather. it's pretty fun because sometimes there hidden very well.
