im glad they see their mistake in THP8 which was the shitty customizable Create-A-Skater. seriously, THPS2 had better CAS than THP8. WTF were they thinking?

Everything your seeing in this game they wanted to do in THP8. the problem was the time frame they had to do it in. remember they had to build the game from the ground up for next gen. this didn't leave much time for indepth stuff such as cas and cap and w/e. thats why this game will be so great. less time on the engines and more time on content in the game.
