Skate Demo Out Options

The skate demo can now be downloaded from XBL. I am currently downloading it and I won't get top play it until later tonight. Post what you think about it here.

I'm about halfway done on the demo. Lets just hope the hype is as good as they say it is.

EDIT: Just grabbed the demo, Its a bit hard to get used to but its new controls. 20 minute limit sucks anus :/

I played it for a few minutes. funny how there like ya we want to give you the feel of actually skateboarding and w/ the flick it controls you get the feel for it and the sense of accomplishment. Funny in real life it took me about an hour or so to ollie and in the game it only took a minute w/ 45 seconds of that being the video on how it's done. I will post more later. so far I haven't felt any accomplishment from this game nor am I any closer to doing a real life kickflip. lol. so far skate FTL.

Well, of course wiz. i mean, its probably is as real as it can get for now. At least it wasnt like TH ollie in 2 seconds haha. But really, its a game compared to real life. There is no comparison. I think the fact of the matter is, you want realism in a skateboarding game, go buy a complete and do it yourself. (Note: If i just sounded like a dick, sorry, didnt mean it, just trying to get a small point across...lol <3 Jason)

Skate demo fuckin blows. Not gunna buy it. Controls are awkward as hell.

Hold right analog to crouch, then flick up to ollie. Yeah, got that.
To move hold A or X. But going from A to the right analog stick and holding it down, is awkward. Then u loose speed cause u need to hold down to get air, whiche you loose momentum from.

Like I said, this demo could make it or brake it.

I love this game. It does give you that feel of accomplishment when you pull off a really awesome trick (Backflip Christ Air for me). The controls are unique and they grow on you after a while.

I played Skate last night at my friends house, and I was amazed. This game pwns!
