there are cheat codes in the current game. however w/ new consoles especially right now the xbox360 cheats would be bad because then achievments would be pointless and so would leaderboards. and soon the same can be said for the PS3, I am glad for the most part that there aren't cheats. this means that you actually have to be good. or perhaps glitch.

They actually use cheats to test for bugs in the programming. Sometimes they just leave them in. More and more cheats are getting phased out because they shorten the life of the game and translate into more returns and used sales, which ultimately hurt the "bottom line."

I disagree cause sometime cheatcodes can be fun and help you glitch. I remeber using moongravity in THUG + THUG 2 to beable to jump up and over walls (though you had bcscg there was still some places you had to have the moongravity jump glitch to beable to complete a glitch and in THAW to find other glitches. I found a hidden room underground in THAW that the ONLY way to get to was with moongravity enabled.
If you dont like the cheats dont use them but they can be helpful and fun.

the glitch was this... you walljump over and over again and you climb. you could only climb if moongravity was activated though making it a glitch (if you dont believe its a glitch then why the hell is it in bgoats glitch database???)

I could argue with you all day but some people feel that ANY and EVERY glitch that involves moongravity is not a glitch and others dont.


I see moongravity as a tool (not a cheat code) and I use it to gain access to other glitches but what ever floats your boat kid.

There are few glitches that are posted that use cheat codes. For the most part if you use a cheat code,hack, or w/e to glitch then it's not a glitch.
