OMG that quote just gave me a hard
Better be ps2, better be online for ps2, better have a pad for ps2 online, and better be as good as the ps3 and 360 versions. Alot to ask? i think not.
It sounds like its gonna be dope. I hope to get my PS3 this summer.
Ya I got all the pics and the press release.
This fall gamers will be able to command their skating destiny in Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground from Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI). For the first time, players will have the freedom to define their character, story and style based on the choices they make, the paths they choose and the style of skating they use on the proving grounds from Philadelphia and Baltimore to Washington, D.C.
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground features deeper customization than ever before, including a Video Editor with full-featured editing tools and visual effects for creating “epic skate videos,” and a fully customizable online Skate Lounge where players can skate with friends in the ultimate pad. In addition, players will have the freedom to skate from single player to online seamlessly, as well as utilize new gameplay mechanics such as skateable terrain altering and building, and Bowl Carving, delivering the most empowered skating experience ever. Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground also features even more Nail the Trick™ moves such as Nail the Grab and Nail the Manual intensifying the thrill of pulling off big tricks.
“Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground drops players into the skateboarding world like never before,” said Joel Jewett, president of Neversoft. “This is the largest, deepest and most compelling Tony Hawk game ever. You can skate the best lines, define your own style and produce your own videos. You can even take it further by tricking out your own Skate Lounge, where you can hang out and skate with others online. Proving Ground will throw you so deep into the lifestyle of skateboarding that you won’t be able to get out. Hands down, it’s the most exciting Tony Hawk title yet.”
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground is in development by Neversoft for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, Wii™ home video game system, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, and Nintendo DS™. The game is not yet rated by the ESRB and is scheduled for release later this year.
I think the steaming levels is only for next gen. And if shaba is handling current gen.. haha no online for you. haha Loser
*EDIT* ah wiz posted before i finished replying
Shaba sucks on a fire hose. They will never make a game equivalent to Neversoft.
And these graphics

look like N64
Ya and thats why it's not due out tomorrow. it's do out later this year. Still thought those graphics don't look anything like n64. I think it's been awhile since you played n64. they look great to me.
I meant the second picture. It looks like Ps1/N64 graphics
Those graphics in the link that say they are in the PS3 section are from the 360...
Right when i think when I'm done with the series.. they pop up with the skate pad idea.. and the video editor is more detailed than i thought it'd be...
Skate pad idea seems pimp
I hope the story line actually takes a while to complete [I hope its rather challenging].
I need to grab myself a 360 before it is released. This game is going to be sweet!
This looks good, but its usong the same stuff as skate, I dont want the games to be the same.
And theSkate pad? wouldnt you rather play home?
I want a tony hawk game, online with a least 8 people and Im happy.
Well considering that Neversoft has been working on this game f=since before ea announced skate would have a video editor I don't think neversoft is copyiong them. Neversoft always wanted to have a video editor but the consoles couldn't really handle it like they can now. And um come to think of it but isn't skate just an all around copy of the tony hawk series anyways for the most part.
As for the skate pad as nick and I were thinking it may be a part of home. who knows. and no I wouldn't rather play home because hey theres no skateboards. and if your getting this for ps2 or w/e then there prolly won't be any of this and prolly no online either. next gen is the place to be and for next gen it will be online w/ atleast prolly 8 players.
*hardy*
Looks hawt.
Yeah rly
i still think it would be sweet if u could use your home character in thpg
this game better be the shit, or ill slap my face.
