I'm not saying it was the best game that was made in the series. It's just cause I never really got big into glitching until just before THUG2 came out. So when it did I was all over it and online was the shit. All the other games that came after are nowhere near as fun and I never played THPS4 online when it came out.

THPG is the best so far, its THAWish which i love, and its got alot of new feats i liked, agro kick, rig, you name it.
THP8, well, you know, sucks ass, shaba=death, i think thp8 couldve actually been good if neversoft did it or had page 44 do it like they did thpg, but in reality, they got shaba to do it which is a no-no.

shaba made the best thps3 version back onn the ps1. theyve done really well in the past, its just thp8 in general was shit so theres not much you could do with it. its not like neversoft wasnt over seeing what shaba was doing and wasnt telling them what to do, no to mention approving of their work, so in the end its still neversofts game.
in the end, buy a fucking next gen. thats just my two cents
secondly all you fools who think the new games are the shit are wack. take your eyes off all the bells and whistles for half a second and look at what an actual lack of innovation and or good level design the last few games have showcased.

THP8 was the worst TH game I ever played. On the first level, they lock you in a freaking neighborhood where you can't do anything. I hated that.

ps2 SUCKED
360 was amazing compared to previous games

i dont understand all the low ranks for thps2 or even 3. dont you guys miss good level design, or even having to try to find or get the sick lines? now its like you can press triangle every time you ollie and your more then likely gonna land on something, not only that but the lines like jump and scream at you to take em. idk to each to his own.

well back in the day I wasn't to into the TH series. I played em but had other games I liked better. twisted metal 2 and such. 3 was ok but once 4 came out it was amazing. as for what water said I know I have THPS4 on there twice I did it purposlly. as for the TH game yet to be announced I am not saying it's the next game coming out I am saying I am saving that for a TH game in the future that will hopefully desimate all other TH games. it could be the next one or the one after that or the one 5 years from now. who knows.

There were so many people online. Then THUG 2 arrived, and people left. THAW pretty much killed off most of the online community. Everything past it has had almost no impact. I feel like the glorious days of the TH series are over. Let's hope that's not the case with this new game. By now, a next gen console should be quite affordable for some of us.

i dont like it for a lot of reasons... hawk was first.. hawk is better... skate is more of a simulator...
hawk is more glitchable

I personally like Skate more then THPG but I don't "hate" THPG. Competition is always good. As long as Neversoft doesn't sell out to EA, like every other competitor of EA, the games will only get better for both brands.

That's what I love about the gaming industry, the developers are constantly trying to win over the gamers, not just make a quick buck. If they're just making a quick-buck game, then everyone with internet and that game will scream bloody murder and no one will buy it (with the exception of Halo 3).

mkay heres my two cents on this topic, the best game in the series had to be THPS4. being the first online in the series it's what really made TH games that followed what they were.clans were created, friendships were formed. old timers like myself will agree that glitching took some skill,remember CG? lol
no.2 in the series for me was THUG. glitching was in its hey day(i wasnt happy bout them making CG ezier,but it did open the glitching door for many ppl). the clans that had somthing from THPS grew stronger and friendships continued to bloom. y'all remember the frenzy when we heard THUG was coming? and lets not forget the addtion of being able to jump off our boards. lol remember our reps back then? we were gods!! everyone despised the name =BGOAT= but so desperatly wanted to be us its good to be king 
no.3,4 for me were THPS2,3 not online as we all know but still great games.
no.5 THUG2 the smoother graphics made it nice to look at but that god damn IM bullsh@t ruined that game >< also the drama had reached incredible lvls by THUG2 having been born 2 games ago. but as for pure playability and from a glitching stand point was a basically a fun game.
i dont have a 6th or greater cause well i live in an area that didnt have BB til last year so when THAW was released with no dial up i was forced into retirement from the TH games. the saddest day for me was when they took down the THPS4 online servers

haha its offical, Req is a future teller. Neversoft sold out to an EA studios, but not 100% Robomodo for riot if TH games SUCK!
