It should. I just finished playing NHL07 (ps2) on the Ps3, online with people that were running it on Ps2.

well, you can play most of the games, at a quick estimate i'd say 90%-95%+ of ps2 and psx games work. how exactly do you play older games on the 360? i forgot. dont you like have to save the games to your console or something...?

Unlike the 360 however, the PS3 is only messing up about 200 out of about 8000 games. Also the problems will be fixed, Sony said they would work on every single patch for every game if they had to.
