So many people said ps3 isnt online. So they said fine, ill play online on the ps2. Well its come to my attention that the ps2 one isnt online. Its not confirmed but i saw the "final" box art for the ps2 and there was no online. go 360!

from what I understand there will only be online for the 360 version. Why I have no idea. I mean the PS3 not being online I can see because Sony didn't give out the dev programs needed to code it intime for online. but the PS2 version really has no escuse except maybe that Shaba is lame and doesn't know how to make it online. lol.

Well Neversoft can still make THP8 online on the PS3 after its been released its more like do they have the means to do it. Ive asked and talked to people about could Neversoft make a download or something to add online to THP8 on the PS3 after it is released and most have said yeah it would be possible.

Neversoft is either being lazy (as always) or getting paid which I doubt. If neither PS2 or PS3 version are online, I'll wait until the next game. But, not seeing the icon on the cover art doesn't necessarily mean anything, THAW didn't have it until the game was out...
Anyways, what's with the "uhh ohh" and "go 360!"? It's not like this little thing is going to change my mind on a console lmao. Even if the PS3 version were online, I'm sure I'd rather play the good PS3 games.

Neversoft could add online for PS3 if they wanted to, but I highly doubt it because of their known laziness. I think they could have gotten it done if they tried in the first place, other developers made it online at launch...

I cant wait till someone creates a 360 emulator so I can run it easily on my PS3

That would be sweet. I'm sure its gonna be off line Ps wise though. But the idea of adding online to it is VERY possible. They did that with Kameo, a launch 360 game.

All you need is a 360 emulator for PC, preferably a linux version but windows would work too. I have seen an emu for it, didn't feel like trying it though. Online play would also work with Netplay if you knew how to set it up.

Not everyone knew this because if they did then there wouldn't be a topic like this. w/ that said the 360 will only be 8 players online not 12. and the psp will prolly have 4 players via ad hoc or w/e it's called.

So ps2 varies between 1-2 players and single player, and 1-2= split screen. So will we be a 360 clan than?

i hate the 360 controller for thps GRRR well was getting it for the ps2 but i guess not anymore ffs, looks like ill have to make a ps2 controller converter >.<

Woot, more money for good games. And a chance for Neversoft to look at some mistakes also, when they look at their profits
Looks like a win to me. Saves me $50-$60 on the game and $50 on a cap card until next year.
